Lekytos attica a figure nere con scena di danza degli inizi V sec. a.C. proveniente da Camarina.
È una terracotta smaltata a figure nere che presenta un piede sottolineato in basso da un motivo nastriforme risparmiato, seguito da un motivo smaltato di nero a sottolineare un a nastro chiaro.
La faccia del piede è sempre smaltata il nero come parte della base e il breve stelo. Si ottiene un grande registro smaltato di chiaro fino alla spalla in cui sono rappresentate delle danze di satiri con caproni. Al centro un satiro itifallico che suona il doppio flauto: da entrambi i lati una coppia di danzatori: satiri itifallici che tengono per le zampe i caproni. Il margine del registro in alto è sottolineato da un motivo nero a zig-zag sottolineato da due sottilissime righe nere. Dalla spalla a ¼ del collo il lekytos è nuovamente risparmiato decorato a vernice nera, da palmette che si alternano nel movimento. La restante parte del collo e il labbro sono smaltate in nero, così come la parte esterna dell’ansa a nastro.

Attic lecythus with black figures and dance scene.
The lecythus features a foot with an extant ribbon pattern, followed by a black enameled motif to emphasize a light-colored ribbon. The face of the foot too has black enamel black as does part of the base and the short stem. The result is large light-colored enameled register up to the shoulder where dances of satyrs and goats are depicted. At the center there is an ithyphallic satyr playing the double flute: on both sides of a pair of dancers are ithyphallic satyrs holding goats by the paws. The margin of the register at the top is highlighted by a black zigzag pattern underlined by two thin black lines. From the shoulder to the ¼ of the neck the lecythus is spared and features a black painted decoration of palmettes alternating in the movement. The remaining part of the neck and the rim are colored in black, as is the outer part of the ribbon handle.

Lekytos attique à figures noires avec scène de danse.
Le lekytos présente un pied souligné dans le fond par un motif en forme de bande, suivi d’un motif émaillé en noir pour mettre l’accent sur une bande claire. Le visage du pied est toujours émaillé en noir et aussi une partie de la base et la tige courte. On obtient une grande bande émaillée claire jusqu’ à l’épaule où sont représentés des danses des satyres avec des chèvres. Au centre un satyre ithyphallique jouant la double flûte : dans les deux côtés une paire de danseurs : satyres ithyphalliques détenant des chèvres par les jambes. La marge au-dessus de la bûche est soulignée par un motif noir en zigzag souligné par deux fines lignes noires. De l’épaule à un quart du cou du lekytos est décoré de nouveau avec de la peinture noire, et avec des palmettes qui s’alternent dans le mouvement. La partie restante du cou et de la lèvre sont peints en noir, ainsi que la partie extérieure de l’anse à bande.

Lekytos mit schwarzen Figuren und mit Tanzszenen.
Das Lekytos ist durch einen Fuß, der auf dem Boden mit einem Streifenmotiv und einem schwarzen Anastro dekoriert ist, gekennzeichnet. Der Rücken des Fusses und der kurze Stängel sind schwarz glasiert. Tänze von Satyren mit Böcken sind dargestellt. In der Mitte ist ein Doppelflöte spielender ithyphallischer Satyr, der von beiden Seiten aus einem Paar von Tänzern umgegeben ist. Der obere Rand ist durch ein schwarzes Motiv in einer Zick-Zack Form unterstrichen und durch zwei dünne schwarze Linien betont. Von der Schulter bis zum Hals ist das Lekytos auf dem 4. Teil des Hals wieder in schwarzer Farbe dekoriert und mit Palmetten in Wechselbewegung verziert.
